While I know no one is ever actually scared by spooky Halloween treats, I do know for a fact that many people are terrified to work with meringue. Hopefully these bones and ghosts will help chase those demons away.
Meringue Ghosts couldn’t be easier or cuter! Little swirls of sweetened egg whites are studded candy eyes to create a boo-rrific Halloween treat.
Ingredients:
- 320gr Sugar
- 200gr Egg Whites
- 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 Pinch of Salt
Instructions:
- You could use melted chocolate or edible markers to paint their faces.
- The meringue has to be cooked until reaching 55 C - 130 F. You could use you pinky to feel a “heat that is almost too hot to touch”
